生きるということ 〜波乗りと禅 禅と経営〜

波乗りと禅、そのスピリチュアルな関連性に関してはG-Landを発見したGerry Lopezを始め、多くの先達たちからも指摘されている。一方で禅と経営に関する講話であったり、経営者向けの座禅会なども多く開かれている。

これらに共通することは、すなわち生きるということであり、最近ますますそのように考えるようになった。

When it comes down to it the reason we surf and snowboard is because it's close to meditation for us. and when you go to a Jinja or a temple, the air in those places or the sprits' guidance that you feel in those places has a close relationship to how we experience these things. We are human, and we are humans with souls. For our souls to feel peace we go to the shrines or in our case we surf and snowboard. I found a true connection between these experiences.

最終的におれらがなんでサーフィンやスノーボードをやるかっていうと

ある種の瞑想に近いものであって

神社だったりお寺だったりに存在する空気だったり魂の鼓動と

すごく共通する部分がある
